Scholarships...

Without musicians there is no music. Laguna Beach Live! works to make sure there is great music for all by supporting our professional artists, our rising stars and our local students. Traditionally, Laguna Live! gives two $1000 scholarships to LBHS seniors who have shown a sustained interest in, and aptitude for music, and who plan to continue music education at a 2 or 4-year college. This year, we had so many really dedicated and talented music students who applied, that the Board stepped up to add to our $2000 kitty in order to give out THREE $1000 scholarships.  Each of our winners wrote an essay explaining their interest and history in music and describing their plans and dreams for the future.  The three winning essays made us proud to award each student money to continue their music education and passion.

The winning students were Isabella Yencho,  Lauren Trantenberg and Kaiyal Das.
