Exciting Line Up for Laguna Beach Live!'s - Laguna Generational Jive!
Back to School…and Laguna Beach Live! is leading the way with entertaining yet educational programs on music. First up is Laguna Generational Jive! on October 1 that is all about American music and how jazz has been a culmination of so many elements. This fascinating exploration opens up beyond jazz to blues, gospel and other styles and will be performed by Beth and Steve Wood (Honk, Kenny Loggins, Sting, Paul McCartney), Frank Cotinola on drums (133, Righteous Brothers and Jose Feliciano, and Laguna Beach school graduates Billy Mohler on bass (The Calling, Aimee Osbourne, Kelly Clarkson and Macy Gray), Phil Gough on guitar (Common Sense, English Beat, many film and TV compositions) and Dan Reckard on sax and piano (a serious up and comer in the jazz world). Representing the next generation will be jazz director Steven Wade and the Laguna Beach High School BHS jazz band. The show will be an evening of mix and match music and musicians that is sure to be enhancing and entertaining and one you do not want to miss .
Proceeds benefit the free educational programs presented at the schools by Laguna Beach Live! Laguna Generational Jive will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, 7:00-8.30 pm at the Laguna Beach Artist's Theatre, 625 Park Avenue.
