28-year-old Scott Gates has been singing and playing music for 25 years. Starting formally at age 3, Scott is Classically trained, bluegrass raised, country lived, jazz calculated, punk thinking with a folk philosophy. He performs with The Get Down Boys, The Salty Suites, Jeff Scroggins & The Scroggdogs, and a new band based in Seattle coming soon! Scott is the California Bluegrass Association's Regional Director of LA.
