Los Angeles native Miss Sidley attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where, by her senior year she had accumulated numerous awards, including Down Beat Magazine’s Best High School Jazz Vocalist and finalist for the National Foundation for the Arts Award in both popular voice and jazz. In 2003 she was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Berklee College of Music. While there she won the Young Singers Cabaret Competition at the Algonquin’s Oak Room, and in 2007 she wrote, arranged, and performed “All My Tomorrows,” the critically-acclaimed show she presented with violinist Aaron Weinstein during a two-week engagement at the Oak Room. Now working side by side with her accompanist, Dan Reckard, the pair perform unique arrangements of forgotten standards, as well as insightful treatments of show tunes and Disney, classic and camp, with an enthusiasm for live performance harkening back to the 1920’s and 30's.
