Alexander Suleiman has been awarded several first prizes in various competitions in both the piano and cello categories and has been invited to solo with numerous orchestras and to perform at festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Prague Mozart Academy, the Oleg Kagan Music Festival, the Klagenfurt Musikfest, the International Musikfest Dietzenbach in Germany, and the Suomussalmi and Kuhmo Chamber Music Festivals in Finland.

Mr. Suleiman's most recent appearances include performances in Europe, Asia, South America and the United States with the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra, the World Chamber Orchestra, the Palestine Symphony, the Georgian Chamber Orchestra and the Caucasian Chamber Orchestra, and he has premiered many works, several of which are dedicated to him. Alexander, in addition to his numerous performances, also holds master classes and will be teaching the string pedagogy class at the Thornton School of Music from next semester on.
