Inside World Music

Inside World Music, a cultural music series by Laguna Beach Live!, presents the Turkish-French Collaboration of Senem Diyici's Mavi Yol 4tet on Saturday, June 9, 6-8 pm at the Laguna Beach Woman’s Club.

A special wine-tasting has been added to the event, made possible by generous donations from Sevtap Winery and Turquoise Life, distributors of Breezette Rosé. The featured wines will include Sevtap’s hand-crafted Bordeaux varieties and Breezette’s rosé wine imported from the Cotes de Provence region in France. Both owners, originally from Turkey, will be on-hand to share the history and stories of their wine. Wine tasting begins at 5:30 pm and is a separate $5 donation online or at the door. Concert and dancing begins at 6 pm.

Appetizers will be provided by GG’s Café Bistro. GG’s Bistro, in the heart of Laguna Beach, offers its guests a great sidewalk view of Laguna Beach life and a selection of the best Turkish, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.

With its original compositions and apt use of modern day technology, “Mavi Yol 4tet” is in constant motion between jazz and traditional folk music. The quartet offers a magical blend of traditional and contemporary Eastern, Turkish and European musical cultures. With their music they travel the world, enchanting their audiences wherever they go.
